Responsible Play (Responsible Gambling)

PlayNex ANZ Limited encourages safe, informed play. Gambling should be entertainment—not a way to make money or solve financial problems.

Practical tips to stay in control

  • Set a spending limit and stick to it; only gamble with money you can afford to lose.
  • Set a time limit and take regular breaks; avoid chasing losses.
  • Don’t gamble when stressed, upset, tired, or under the influence of alcohol/drugs.
  • Keep track of deposits and play time; use account history to review activity.
  • Balance gambling with other activities and responsibilities.

Warning signs

Consider getting help if you notice any of the following:

  • Gambling longer or spending more than planned.
  • Borrowing money, selling items, or missing bills due to gambling.
  • Hiding gambling activity, or conflicts with family/friends.
  • Trying to win back losses, or feeling unable to stop.

Cooldowns, limits, and self-exclusion

You can request tools to reduce harm, including:

  • Deposit/spend limits (daily/weekly/monthly) to cap what you can add or use.
  • Time limits and reminders to manage session length.
  • Cooldown (time-out) for a chosen period during which you cannot play.
  • Self-exclusion for a longer period; during self-exclusion we will restrict account access in line with our procedures.

To set or request a cooldown/self-exclusion, use your account settings (if available) or contact Support at support@playnexanz.com or +64 9 889 3174. We may ask for verification to protect your account.
